McNeice in Conversation with Christine Vachon: Screen Ireland Masterclass

I was absolutely delighted to host a Masterclass with legendary Producer Christine Vachon on June 29th at the Irish Film Institute in Dublin.

Vachon’s work has had a huge impact on me both personally and professionally, and it was an honour to speak with her in front of a full house in the IFI.

Christine Vachon is an Independent Spirit Award and Gotham Award winner who co-founded Killer Films with partner Pamela Koffler in 1995. Over two decades, they have produced more than 100 films, including some of the most celebrated and important American independent features: Kids, I Shot Andy WarholHappinessBoys Don’t CryHedwig and the Angry InchFar From HeavenOne Hour PhotoStill AliceCarolBeatriz at Dinner, and First Reformed. In television, Vachon executive-produced the Emmy and Golden Globe-awarded miniseries Mildred Pierce for HBO as well as the Emmy Award-winning limited series Halston for Netflix. Upcoming releases include Celine Song’s Past Lives (A24), which premiered at Sundance and screened in competition at the Berlin International Film Festival, and Todd Haynes’ May December, starring Natalie Portman and Julianne Moore, which screened in competition at the Cannes Film Festival.
