Hardback Films is delighted to announce that The Kerry International Film Festival presented Katie McNeice with the Inaugural Rising Talent Taking Flight Award, sponsored by Kerry Airport.

Festival Director Eibh Collins presented the award to McNeice for her work to date, including feature film WHO WE LOVE, co-written with Director Graham Cantwell, which headlined at this year’s festival.

In the 2020 edition of the Kerry International Film Festival McNeice’s LAMBING received the award for Best Short Screenplay, while in 2019 her debut film IN ORBIT screened as part of the Irish shorts.

WHO WE LOVE also received the award for Best Fiction Feature Film at the 2021 festival.
